    Amara Golf Club

Tucked inside Summerlin’s guard-gated Ridges, Amara Golf Club reinvents the former Bear’s Best, the Jack Nicklaus layout that brought together his favorite holes from championship courses worldwide. Backed by a roughly $300 million investment, the course is reborn as a strictly private retreat where only members and their guests play against sweeping Red Rock and Strip-skyline views. Amara goes beyond golf, too, positioning itself as a wellness-focused country club built around longevity and personalized lifestyle optimization. Residents and members can look forward to a two-level clubhouse with spa, fitness center, wine lounge and fine dining, plus a family pool with cabanas, pickleball courts, a six-hole par-3 course and golf simulators. A small collection of boutique villas offers a rare chance to live at the heart of the club, making Amara one of the most exclusive addresses in the Las Vegas Valley.

    FAQs

    1. What makes Amara different from other Las Vegas golf communities?

Rather than a straightforward golf club, Amara pairs a reimagined course with a wellness-first philosophy focused on helping members live longer, healthier lives through tailored health and lifestyle programs. Add guard-gated Ridges living and a very small member roster, and it stands apart from the valley’s larger country clubs.

    2. Can non-members book a tee time?

Unfortunately not. Access is reserved for members and the guests they bring along. The course stopped hosting public rounds in June 2025 when construction got underway.

    3. What can members enjoy besides the golf course?

Plenty. Plans include a spa, gym, wine lounge, and upscale restaurant inside the clubhouse, along with a resort-style pool, pickleball, volleyball, and a large lawn for events. Golfers also gain a short six-hole par-3 loop and indoor simulators for practice.

    4. What should I budget to join?<

Expect a significant commitment: entry has been reported at $250,000, with that figure climbing as each block of 50 spots fills, and ongoing dues near $4,000 a month. Kids can be included under the family plan until they turn 25.

    5. Does buying a villa come with a club membership?

No, the two are purchased separately. Only 15 villas are planned, with move-ins targeted for late 2027, so buyers who want full club privileges should secure a membership as well.
